Mason had a little seizure at 12:10 am tonight. Chris decided to sleep with him in our bed, just so he was there in case we felt him jolt up and have one. Chris called my name and I got there just as he was coming out of it, in his aura like state. It only lasted about 20-30 seconds and wasn't as violent as some have been. He seemed very sleepy afterwards, like usual, but who isn't at 12:10 am?
There was no fever or anything else to prompt this one either. We hope this one is the only one tonight, as I did not pick up his diastat yet...the pharmacy did not have the drug until Wednesday. We don't want to have to use the diastat...as it is a type of valium that puts him to sleep and really isn't a drug that we could use consistently.
Guess the increase in the drug isn't preventing these after all...Good thing Dr. Koehn is on call Thurs-Sun!
