Chris and I went back to work today and Mason went to Auntie Michelle's. Mason is back to his normal tempered, well-eating self. Mom is still avoiding all the germs between home and work, and Dad is still a little weak from his flu. I told him he needs to go to the walk-in tomorrow if his lungs still feel heavy because I'm fearful of pneumonia. Daddy never takes pills but I saw him swallow a few ibuprofen tonight, which means somethings up.
We are getting geared up for a busy November and December. This coming weekend is Anna's bridal shower in Menomonie along with the guy's annual woodcutting weekend. The following weekend is deer opener, which is always exciting in and of itself. I told Chris I didn't want the hassle of meat cutting in the house again so I think I've convinced him to take it in for processing. There is nothing grosser (is that a word?) to me than dried up deer blood on my kitchen counters. YUCK.
Then we have Thanksgiving...and then it's DECEMBER! Where did fall go?
So glad...my fam was praying for you!!
ReplyDeleteWe're excited to come out and see you in December and this weekend in Menomonie!
I didn't get the call about Mason but I'm so so so glad you got to host the shower and that I got to meet and hold Mason. He's truly a joy and a sweet child. I started to feel like maybe Anna and Matt made him up :)
ReplyDeleteIt was lovely to meet you girls, too!
I can't wait to see Mason again...and introduce him to my other children. I know Tommy will drive him nuts with hugs and kisses.
