Turkey Day 2009

We are so grateful to have a happy boy this morning. Last night left little to be desired. Mason fell asleep at 8:30 last night and was very twitchy all night. He would fall fast asleep and all of a sudden he would arch back and kick and wake up. We aren't sure if this was seizure related or not.

At 4:30 am, he had a mini-seizure, it was only about 15-20 seconds long. We decided to give him a little of the suspension drug rather than waiting for another one, hoping it would help him sleep. Plus, Mommy and Daddy were really craving at least an hour of uninterrupted sleep.

He did not have another seizure as of 8:00 this morning. He is in a very good mood and ate a great breakfast. We're hopeful that his great mood will continue throughout the day.

Mason is taking a bath and then will sit down to enjoy the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, while Mommy and Daddy get busy with the cleaning and cooking. Then we will have everyone over for the Packer game, and hoping to plan our dinner to fall during half-time. :) GO PACK!

Happy Thanksgiving Day all!

  1. I'm giving thanks today that Anna met Matt and that she gets to have you guys in her life. I know she treasures Mason as if he belonged to one of her siblings. I hope you all have lots of kids (sorry, it's just in me to think that) and that they have lots and lots of cousins to play with as they grow. Mason will be the leader of the pack! He'll be directing the family football games at the get-togethers, I can see it all now. I will hope and pray that he'll outgrow this bad stuff and be healthy and happy.
