Our Weekend Recap 2

Meanwhile, in the house, Mason was amazing us with a new trick he just learned. We were able to catch it later that night on video, but if you can believe it, he did 10X this much earlier in the day!!!

I got in lots of cuddling with my little boy and so did the doggies:


It was a great weekend. We are very excited about Mason's new skill and where it will take him. We can't wait to show Leslie tomorrow in therapy!!! (I just hope he does it for her).

This week brings upon us more new adventures. This is my first year cooking a turkey. I went to our local Piggly Wiggly tonight to get my turkey to make sure it had proper time to thaw this week. They did not have an 18 pounder like I was hoping so instead I purchased 2 - 10 pounders. When I brought them to the car (where Chris and Mason were snuggling) we both got the same idea. Let's have a TURKEY BAKE-OFF! I will be making a traditional turkey in the oven. Chris will be making a turkey on the grill. We'll see who has the better turkey! Should be interesting! I am sure I will have plenty to blog about!!!

Hope everyone has a great week preparing for Thanksgiving. Chris and I have so much to be thankful for, & we are excited to share this holiday with our family and friends!
