The Konkol Pond

We used to skate it hundreds of times each winter. Since we've grown older, we don't get back to it as much as we would like to...and it shows...in my rusty skating ability and very sore legs.

Tonight we took Addy and Mason there to meet up with the Lemke clan. Papa Randy and Gramma Duck built a fire so we could take breaks to warm up. The ice rink is huge and very smooth - almost better than you could get at an indoor rink.

Mason got his 2nd ride on his brand new sled from Gramma and Grampa Mrdutt and really enjoyed watching everyone skate around. Chloe really enjoyed pushing Mason around and Haley spent most of her time challenging me to a race or a game of tag.
