After a really laid back weekend, Chris and I get geared up for a busy week. Tomorrow is Mason's 2 year pictures. I have two super cute outfits picked out for him, I just hope his good mood from today carries over to tomorrow so we can capture his beautiful smiles in the pictures!!!
Wednesday is another long day in Marshfield. Mason has an EEG at 8:30 am. EEG's have never been easy as they glue about 30 probes to his head. I think it pulls on his hair a bit. They usually need to capture information with Mason awake and sleeping, so a good crying spree gets him tuckered out and he usually ends it with a little nap. Since his hair usually gets pretty wrecked from all the glue in it, I had to make sure his pictures were taken before this appointment. At 12:30 pm Mason has a sedated MRI. This is the MRI we have been waiting for since June 2008. That June, Dr. Koehn had seen a few things that she could not give a diagnose to until seeing another MRI to see how the brain has changed (or not changed for that matter). One of the things she thought Mason may have is Cortical Dysplasia. At 2:30 pm we meet with Dr. Koehn to go over the results of both tests. I'll post Wednesday evening if we have any news-worthy info to share.
After a long, stressful day in Marshfield...we get to Thursday, Mason's 2 year birthday!!! It's hard to believe our little boy is going to be 2 years old. I'll save all my rantings and ravings for Mason's birthday post. :)
On Friday...family are coming into town and we are getting ready for a big birthday on Saturday. Over 10 birthdays are going to be celebrated on Saturday - our ever expanding family seems to have all their babies in the winter! We look forward to the bowling, pizza and cake made by Gramma Mrdutt...
So now we gear up for a crazy week and hope that we fly through all the not-so-fun stuff so we can get to the fun stuff...and hoping for good news with our little boy.
I hope you guys get good news this week and everything goes as smooth as can be. I can't believe Mas is going to be 2 already! Give him a birthday hug from us.
